Instagram Engagement-to-Revenue Index (IERI)
An original Axis Intelligence Research metric — no prior publication of this cross-source calculation exists. Combines Meta's Q1 2026 Family of Apps ad revenue, eMarketer's Instagram revenue share estimate (37%), and DataReportal's January 2025 advertising audience figure (1.74B) to derive Instagram's implied revenue per addressable user at annualized run rate.
Formula: (Meta FoA ad rev Q1 2026 × 4 × 37% IG share) ÷ 1.74B ad audience
= ($55.0B × 4 × 0.37) ÷ 1,740,000,000 = $46.78 / user / year
