These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of axis-intelligence.com (the “Site”) and any services, solutions, content, or features provided by Axis Intelligence (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”).
By accessing or using the Site, subscribing to our newsletter, contacting us, or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or engage our services.
1. About Axis Intelligence
Axis Intelligence is operated by Axis Intelligence LLC, a Limited Liability Company, registered in Wyoming, United Statesunder company number 139683371, with its principal place of business at 1207 Delaware Avenue, Suite 1228 Wilmington, DE 19806 United States
Axis Intelligence operates as both:
- A technology media publication — publishing articles, statistics reports, reviews, comparisons, and analyses across cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, SaaS, consumer hardware, smart home, electric vehicles, networking, and digital culture.
- A professional services provider — offering Big Data consulting, custom development, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) advisory, Artificial Intelligence integration, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, OSINT services, and related digital transformation services to clients worldwide.
These Terms cover both your use of the public Site and the broader framework within which we engage clients for professional services.
2. Definitions

- “User” means any person or entity that accesses the Site.
- “Client” means a person or entity that has entered into a separate written agreement with Axis Intelligence for Services.
- “Service Agreement” means a Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, engagement letter, or similar written contract governing a specific Services engagement between Axis Intelligence and a Client.

5. Professional Services
Axis Intelligence offers a range of professional services. These Terms govern the framework within which we engage with prospective and existing clients. Specific engagements are governed by separate written Service Agreements.
5.1 Service categories
We offer services across the following categories. The Site lists current offerings; we may add, modify, or discontinue services at any time.
- Big Data — Data architecture, pipelines, analytics platforms, and data engineering
- Consulting — Strategic and technical consulting on digital transformation, technology selection, and operational improvement
- Custom Development — Bespoke software, applications, integrations, and platform builds
- GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) — Compliance program design, risk assessment, regulatory advisory (including GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIS2, EU AI Act, and similar frameworks)
- Artificial Intelligence — AI strategy, model development, integration, governance, deployment, and post-deployment monitoring
- Internet of Things (IoT) — IoT architecture, deployment, device security, data integration
- OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) — Open-source intelligence research, threat intelligence, due diligence investigations (lawful and ethical engagements only)
5.2 Engagement process
A request for Services or an inquiry through the Site does not, by itself, create a contractual relationship. A Services engagement begins only when:
- We discuss your needs and confirm we can provide the requested Services
- We provide a written proposal, Statement of Work, or engagement letter describing the scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees
- Both parties sign a Service Agreement
Until a Service Agreement is signed, no Services are owed, no fees are due, and no warranties or commitments apply.
5.3 Service Agreements take precedence
For any Client engagement, the terms of the specific Service Agreement (Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or engagement letter) prevail over these Terms in the event of conflict. These Terms cover only the broader framework — the use of the Site, intellectual property baseline, and disclaimers — that complements but does not replace a Service Agreement.
5.4 OSINT and intelligence services
For OSINT and intelligence-related engagements, Axis Intelligence operates exclusively within legal and ethical boundaries. We do not:
- Conduct unauthorized surveillance of individuals
- Engage in intrusive intelligence gathering against private persons without lawful basis
- Bypass technical access controls to obtain non-public information
- Provide services to clients we reasonably believe will use them for unlawful purposes, harassment, or to harm vulnerable persons
We reserve the right to decline any OSINT or intelligence engagement at our sole discretion.
5.5 AI services and outcomes
For Artificial Intelligence engagements, you acknowledge that:
- AI systems can produce unexpected, incorrect, or biased outputs
- Outcomes of AI projects depend on data quality, organizational readiness, and factors outside our exclusive control
- We provide AI Services with reasonable professional care but do not guarantee specific business outcomes (revenue increases, cost reductions, productivity gains)
- Compliance with applicable AI regulations (such as the EU AI Act) is a shared responsibility between us as service provider and you as the deploying organization
- You remain responsible for the lawful and ethical use of any AI systems we help you build, deploy, or operate
Specific guarantees, milestones, and acceptance criteria, where applicable, are set out in the relevant Service Agreement.
6. Newsletter and Communications
By subscribing to our newsletter or providing your email address through a contact form, you consent to receive communications from Axis Intelligence related to our content, services, research, and updates.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails or by emailing [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not affect operational or transactional emails (for example, communications related to an active Service Agreement).
7. User-Generated Content
If we enable comments, contact form submissions, survey responses, or other user-generated content, the following applies.
7.1 Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant Axis Intelligence a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works of your submitted content for purposes related to the Site and our Services. This license includes the right to moderate, edit for clarity or length, and remove content.
7.2 Standards
You agree not to submit content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or threatening
- Infringes any intellectual property right
- Discloses confidential information of a third party without authorization
- Contains malware or malicious code
- Is spam, advertising, or solicitation
- Impersonates any person or entity
- Could constitute or encourage criminal conduct
- Violates the privacy of any individual
We may remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion without notice.
7.3 No obligation to monitor
We are not obligated to review or moderate user-submitted content before it appears. Submitted content reflects the views of the submitter, not Axis Intelligence.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our intellectual property
All Content on the Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, images, statistics, research methodologies, software, interactive tools, page layouts, brand names, logos, and trade dress — is owned by Axis Intelligence or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license described in Section 4.1 and the limited reuse rights described in our Editorial Policy, no rights are granted to you in our intellectual property.
8.2 Statistics and data licensing
Axis Intelligence Research statistics and datasets are made available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license where indicated on the article itself. You may reuse such statistics in your own work with attribution to Axis Intelligence Research and a link back to the original article.
Articles, reviews, opinion pieces, and other editorial content are not licensed under CC BY 4.0 and remain protected by standard copyright unless specifically marked otherwise.
8.3 Trademarks
“Axis Intelligence,” the Axis Intelligence logo, “Axis Intelligence Research,” and related marks are trademarks of Axis Intelligence. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission, except in fair-use commentary, reporting, or criticism that does not suggest endorsement.
Other trademarks appearing on the Site (such as product names, company names, and logos in reviews and comparisons) are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the Site does not imply endorsement of or by Axis Intelligence.
8.4 Client work and deliverables
Ownership of work product, deliverables, and intellectual property created during Service engagements is governed by the applicable Service Agreement. By default, unless otherwise agreed:
- We retain ownership of our pre-existing intellectual property, methodologies, frameworks, tools, and reusable components
- The Client receives a license (scope and exclusivity defined in the Service Agreement) to use deliverables for their internal business purposes
- We may use sanitized, aggregated learnings from engagements to improve our methodologies and Services, without disclosing Client-specific information
These defaults are commonly customized in Service Agreements based on engagement type and Client requirements.
8.5 AI training prohibition
You may not use any Content on the Site as training data for artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language models without our prior written permission. This restriction applies to scraping, bulk downloading, and any automated or systematic ingestion of Content. Permission requests can be sent to [email protected].
9. Third-Party Links, Affiliate Links, and Sponsored Content
The Site contains links to third-party websites, services, products, and resources. These links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
Some links on the Site are affiliate links — see our Affiliate Disclosure for a complete explanation of how affiliate links work, the affiliate programs we participate in, and how affiliate revenue does not influence our editorial decisions.
Some content on the Site is sponsored — when this is the case, the content is clearly labeled as “Sponsored,” “Partner Content,” or similar. See our Editorial Policy for our independence and transparency commitments around sponsored content.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, opinions, practices, or privacy policies of third-party websites. Your use of any third-party website is at your own risk and subject to the terms and privacy policies of that third party.
10. Disclaimers
10.1 Informational content, not professional advice
Articles, statistics, reviews, comparisons, and other Content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only. The Content is not:
- Professional legal advice
- Professional financial or investment advice
- Professional medical or mental health advice
- Professional engineering or architectural advice
- A substitute for engaging a qualified professional to assess your specific circumstances
You should not act or rely on Content from the Site without consulting an appropriately qualified professional. Axis Intelligence is not a law firm, an investment advisor, a medical provider, or a licensed engineer.
10.2 Product reviews and recommendations
Product reviews, “best of” lists, and comparisons reflect our editorial judgment at the time of publication. Products change. Software updates. Vendors change pricing, features, and ownership. Use our recommendations as one input among several when making purchasing decisions, not as the final word.
We test products as described in our How We Test page, but we cannot test every configuration, environment, or use case. Your experience may differ from ours.
10.3 Statistics and data
Axis Intelligence Research statistics are sourced from named primary sources, dated, and methodologically transparent (see our Research methodology). Despite our care, statistics may be revised by source organizations after publication, source organizations may discover errors in their own data, or interpretations may evolve. We update articles quarterly but cannot guarantee that every figure is current at the moment you read it. Verify with the original source for any decision-critical use.
10.4 Site availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site available and functioning, but we do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted access
- Error-free operation
- Compatibility with all devices, browsers, or assistive technologies
- That defects will be corrected
The Site, Content, and any interactive tools are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are prohibited by applicable law.
10.5 Services
Professional Services provided under a Service Agreement are subject to the warranties (or warranty disclaimers) set out in that Service Agreement. Nothing on the Site itself constitutes a warranty or guarantee of Service outcomes.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Axis Intelligence, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to:
- Your use of or inability to use the Site
- Any Content on the Site
- Any product, service, or vendor referenced on the Site
- Reliance on any statistics, recommendations, or information provided
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or data
- Any conduct of any third party in connection with the Site
This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and even if Axis Intelligence has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Axis Intelligence in connection with your use of the Site shall not exceed FIFTY US DOLLARS.
For Services engagements, liability is governed by the applicable Service Agreement, which may set different (typically higher and engagement-specific) caps. Nothing in these Terms reduces the liability protections we provide in a Service Agreement.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Axis Intelligence, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property and privacy rights
- Your user-generated content
- Your unauthorized use of the Site or Content
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense, in which case you agree to cooperate with us.
13. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:
- Suspend or terminate your access to the Site for any violation of these Terms
- Remove or modify any Content
- Discontinue any part of the Site, with or without notice
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including without limitation Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law — will survive any termination.
14. Modifications to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
- Where appropriate, notify users by email or by a notice on the Site
Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Site.
For existing Client engagements, modifications to these Terms do not retroactively change the terms of an executed Service Agreement.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
15.1 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
15.2 Disputes
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 60 days, it shall be Wyoming.
For Services engagements, the dispute resolution provisions of the applicable Service Agreement prevail.
15.3 Time limit for claims
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site must be brought within one year after the claim arose. Claims brought outside this period are barred.
15.4 Class action waiver
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute shall be resolved on an individual basis and not as a class action, collective action, or representative action.
16. International Use
The Site is operated from United States. We make no representation that the Site is appropriate or available for use in other locations. If you access the Site from outside United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Specific consumer protection rights for users in the European Union, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions are not waived by these Terms to the extent such rights cannot lawfully be waived.
17. Force Majeure
Axis Intelligence is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, government action, internet or infrastructure failure, third-party service outages, or labor disputes.
18. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, with notice to affected users.
19. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Editorial Policy, Affiliate Disclosure, How We Test, and any applicable Service Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Axis Intelligence regarding your use of the Site and the framework for our Services.
For Client engagements, the executed Service Agreement, together with these Terms (to the extent not superseded), is the entire agreement governing that engagement.
21. Relationship of the Parties
Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, employment, fiduciary, or agency relationship between you and Axis Intelligence. Neither party has authority to bind the other or to incur obligations on the other’s behalf except as expressly set out in a written agreement.
